The label of safe abrasive discs\u00a0<\/b><\/h2>

As with any product intended for the public, used in the world of work, both industrial and DIY, on the label of an abrasive disc it must be reported\u00a0fundamental information for the safety of operators<\/strong>\u00a0and all descriptions to understand the application and use of the disc.<\/p>

It is therefore important to know how to read the label carefully in order to purchase the\u00a0better product<\/strong>\u00a0for the right use.<\/p>

In addition to the name and brand of the manufacturing company, the barcode for identification, cataloging and sale, the expiry date, the technical specifications that identify the disc must be present on the label, i.e.:\u00a0<\/p>

  1. the application<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 the material we want to work with;<\/li>
  2. the maximum speed of use<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 the number of revolutions and the speed of use (in RPM or m\/s) on the respective machines, to be absolutely respected, in order to avoid risks and dangers;<\/li>
  3. the size of the disk<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 expressed in mm which indicate external diameter, thickness, hole diameter;<\/li>
  4. L<\/strong>technical acronym of the disc in alphanumeric code<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 the acronyms correspond to the type of abrasive, grain size, hardness, type of binder and presence of reinforcements;<\/li>
  5. Content information<\/strong>\u00a0of iron, sulfur and chlorine compounds.<\/li><\/ol>

    Furthermore, the safety regulations relating to the correct use of the abrasive wheel, the limitations of use, the PPE to be used during work and useful advice, such as reading the user manual, are indicated through pictograms.
