It all starts with the choice of raw materials. We use only high quality abrasives and binders. very high quality, to ensure superior performance. We make no compromises: the foundation of every one of our grinders must be impeccable.
The process follows mixing and pressing. In this stage, the abrasives and bonds are mixed in precise proportions and then subjected to very high pressures to form the body of the grinding wheel. This stage is crucial for the density and robustness of the final product.
The equally important phase of the cooking, which is meticulously followed by our team. The grinding wheels are subjected to a hardening process in special ovens at controlled temperatures. This is where the binder blends with the abrasives, creating a homogeneous and incredibly resistant structure. Cooking temperature and time are parameters we have refined over decades of experience, and which allow us to obtain grinding wheels with superior mechanical characteristics.
For the realization of the lamellar discs, instead, ours FSA 12 MX machine completely automatic, it allows us to manage a production that goes from 15,000 to 18,000 flap discs per day. This allows for a significant reduction and disposal of residual materials, and significant energy and resource savings.
Every single abrasive disc, before leaving our factory, is subjected to rigorous quality controls. We test its strength, balance, and compliance with international standards: this is how we ensure that every product bearing our brand is synonymous with safety and performance.
